How hard is it to become a referee in the premier leauge?

It is tough but it is possible for anyone to get involved. Just like most things in life, if you are dedicated and you work hard you can achieve most things.

Mike Dean booked Younes Kaboul for encroaching on the Rory Delap throw-in when he jumped and headed it away. If he had been two metres back would his action in heading the ball have been legitimate?

The opposition player has got to be at least two metres away from the thrower to prevent impeding so in this example, that would have been acceptable.

What is the best game you have refereed?

Spitfires versus Wanderers in an U8's match in my local town. My son was playing and it finished 1-1 and I only issued one yellow card so I was really pleased.
