PGMOL EXTEND AGREEMENT WITH PROZONE

PGMOL pleased to announce that they have signed a two year contract extension with ProZone Sports

The PGMOL are pleased to announce that they have signed a two year contract extension with ProZone Sports Ltd, for Performance Analysis Services, until 2010.

This extends the relationship that started back in August 2002 to eight years. In that time ProZone Sports Ltd have worked with the PGMOL to develop and deliver pioneering referee analysis products.

Together PGMOL and ProZone have revolutionised the way in which referees and assistant referees monitor, assess and analyse their match performances. In this country the PGMOL have access to referee analysis like nowhere else in the world.

ProZone are an established global brand in the world of sports performance feedback. They were the first company to introduce time motion tracking solutions to referees so that they could analyse, improve and educate on all aspects of match officials' performances. In the last 5 years the PGMO have been able to monitor Premier League and Football League match officials' fitness levels through ProZone statistics, thus the game is now benefiting from officials who are fitter and faster than ever before.

Keith Hackett, PGMOL General Manager, said: “ProZone provides us with a detailed analysis of performance. We are able to review match incidents with ourMatch Officials and to look at various ways of improving performance.”

Martin Bland, Head of Referee Services at ProZone Sports Ltd said: "ProZone are delighted to have extended our long standing relationship with the PGMOL for a further two years. Our successful association means that both organisations can feel a sense of pride in what we are doing to improve the standard of football in this country. We are committed to being a successful part of the PGMOL's fantastic back room staff and we look forward to taking referee analysis to new heights over the coming seasons."
