ENGLISH OFFICIALS TO OVERSEE WOMEN'S UEFA FINAL
Sasa Ihringova to referee important leg of Umeå v Frankfurt final
The Football Association is delighted to confirm the appointment of Sasa Ihringova as referee for the second leg of the UEFA Women’s Cup Final between German side FFC Frankfurt and their Swedish opponents Umeå IK.
The match will be staged on Saturday 24th May 2008 and Ihringova will be assisted by Emma Everson and Natalie Walker. Amy Rayner will be the fourth official.
The first leg will be staged at their Umeå's Gammliavallen home in northern Sweden on 17th May and the return leg will take place in Frankfurt a week later.
Both sides are going for a record third success in the competition. They last met at this stage of the competition in 2004 when five-time finalists Umeå beat Frankfurt over two legs to retain their title.
