FLYING THE FLAG FOR ENGLAND AT EURO 2008
Country represented by Select Group trio at summer tournament
Select Group referee Howard Webb will be leading England's team onto the pitch at the 2008 European Championships.
As a consequence of the Three Lions failure to qualify, referee Webb and his two assistants will fly the flag as England's sole representatives at the tournament in June.
The competition is being staged in Switzerland and Austria and Webb will be accompanied by Assistant Referees Darren Cann and Mike Mullarkey, as one of the 12 elite teams to officiate at the third-biggest sporting event in the world.
