How did you get introduced into refereeing?    

I attended a course for female officials in 1995.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

U20 FIFA Women's World Cup Final 2008, USA v DPR Korea.

Women's European Championship Final 2005, Germany v Norway.

What is the best game you have officiated and why?  

Women's UEFA Cup Final 2008, Frankfurt v Umea. An exciting game of excellent football in front of a loud crowd of 27,000 in a great stadium.

What are your aims as a National List Assistant Referee?  

I would like to prove that I belong in the elite group of English officials.

What skills do you think you need to become an Assistant Referee?  


Speed, concentration and being a team player.

Who has been the biggest influence in your career and why?  


My uncle was a successful FIFA referee. I wanted to be as good as him!

In your opinion who is/was the best Assistant Referee?  


I could work with Darren Cann any day. He is an impressive professional and a very pleasant person.
